How to Shout Without Screaming: Update

Check it out ---- a couple of weeks ago on September 5 many of you came forward and made a commitment to share Christ with 1-4 of your friends throughout this semester. Well, you've had some time, so we want to get some feedback from you on how things are going (everything from your wins to your worst attempts). We want to hear from you.... so leave a comment!

I havent really talked to my friend about my faith at all. I'm not exactly sure where she stands on the issue but I did tell her the other day that I loved her and was praying for her. She had no clue what to say after that. I'm still trying to figure out how to talk to her about God.

Somebody just left a comment on here while i was leaving this comment... weird. I was going to say that nobody likes to leave the first comment, but "anonymous" beat me to it!

Dear anonymous... keep it up! its great that you are praying for your friend (and even though she didnt say anything about it, I've never met anyone who didnt like to be prayed over.) As for talking to her about God, keep looking for an opportunity because God opens doors for those conversations... we just have to be willing to take action when the oppotunity is there.

My friend is having some rough times at school with homework, grades, and a lot more work. She's in the gifted class with me and I we get packets every few weeks to fill out. The only one she has gotten in on time is the first one. On top of that she has started to swear if she thinks someone is telling her she's not doing something right. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

Is there any way that you could help her with her work? It sounds like that is part of her struggle and would be a tangible way you could help her.

i have a friend who says he is a christian, but he doesnt show "Christian" or christ-like qualities. i have invited him to church a few times, and he liked it a lot. i plan to talk to him and ask him how he became a christian when the time is right. my goal is to get him to obey and follow god more closely than he is now.
