Jarrod is a 1995 graduate and student-athlete (basketball) of NCAA, Division I, Samford University, where he received his BA in human development and family studies. He also received his master’s of divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, in 2003. He currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife Christie and newborn son, Josiah.Jarrod speaks to tens of thousands of people at churches, conferences, festivals and various ministry events all over the United States and Canada. In 2004, Jarrod was the featured speaker before thousands for the ShoutFest tour with artists such as Tait of DC Talk, Newsong, Rachel Lampa, along with various other artists. He just completed his first book and devotional study guide entitled The Backward Life: Loving the God You're Made For, Living the Life You're Meant For.
