On Sunday, May 25, a group from the ninth grade girls life group put together and decorated a wagon to donate to Children’s Hospital. The wagons are used to by parents to take children to different areas of the hospital, including the cafeteria and game areas. The volunteers spent two hours assembling and giving the wagon a new, brightly colored, custom paint job. Notably, the front and back of the wagon lets the children and parents know that Jesus loves them. The back panel quotes I Corinthians 13:13, “But now faith, hope love abide these; but the greatest of these is Love.” The volunteers included Jennifer Shaw, Millie Opper, Kim Krumbinski, Katie Serio, Ellen Anne Bentley, Megan Byrd, Rachel Ethridge, Robin Bird and Tom Bird. Kim brought a friend, Kelsey Rhoden, to help.
